    Mr. Emanuil Yorgov is Mason’s full-time piano technician, where his responsibilities will include piano tuning, voicing, and regulation for Mason’s All-Steinway School, as well as tunings in Harris Theater.

    Federica Incerti is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Technology for the Mason School of Art, the Director of Cybersecurity for the College of Visual & Performing Arts. She received her doctorate in Instructional Technology from Ohio University.

    Megan L. Lavengood, Ph.D. is Associate Professor and Director of Music Theory at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý. Her research primarily deals with popular music, video game music, timbre, synthesizers, and recording techniques.

    Dr. Charles R. Ciorba, Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Music Education, teaches courses in music education.  Prior to joining the faculty at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý, Dr. Ciorba was Associate Professor and Coordinator of Graduate Music Education at the University of Oklahoma, where he (a) gained extensive experience supervising graduate research and (b) taught courses in the areas of research, psychology, philosophy, sociology, assessment, and quantitative analysis.

    Robert Yi was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the United States at the age of four. He received his MFA from American University, graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Foreign Affairs and the Corcoran College of Art & Design with a BFA.

    Eric Thornton is a Midwest transplant to the D.C. metro area. Trained as an artist and potter, he has participated in several international artist-in-residence programs at the International Ceramic Center in Kecskemet, Hungary as well as the Zentrum fur Keramik Berlin, Germany.
