Biography

Dr. Brad N. Greenwood听is a professor of information systems and operations management and the Maximus Corporate Partner Professor of Business听at 性视界传媒. He听joined the faculty at 性视界传媒 from the University of Minnesota鈥檚 Carlson School of Management where he was an Associate Professor of Information and Decision Sciences. Previously, he has also served on the faculty at Temple University鈥檚 Fox School of Business and the University of Maryland鈥檚 Smith School of Business. Dr. Greenwood鈥檚 research examines the intended and unintended consequence of innovation, and how access to the resulting information affects welfare at the interface between business, technology, and social issues; notably in the contexts of healthcare and entrepreneurship. He is currently an Associate Editor at听Management Science听and his work has been published in such leading outlets as:听The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences,听Administrative Science Quarterly,听Management Science,听Organization Science,听Information Systems Research,听Productions and Operations Management,听MIS Quarterly,听the听Communications of the ACM,听the听Strategic Management Journal,听the听Journal of Business Ethics,听the听Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization,听the听Journal of Medical Internet Research,听and听PLoS ONE.

His corporate experience includes nearly eight years as a deputy project manager and analyst for CACI International, a mid-sized consulting firm in the greater Washington DC Metro Area. He received his Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Information Technology and Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Greenwood also received: a Master鈥檚 of Business Administration in IT Consulting from the University of Notre Dame; a Master鈥檚 of Informational Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute; and a PhD in Decision, Operations and Information Technology, with a minor in Strategic Management, from the University of Maryland, College Park.
