Reserve your spot now for the Ukulele Workshop Series on Tuesday evenings (9/14 鈥 10/26).听This workshop is听FREE to Veterans, Servicemembers, military family members, and military caregivers. Musicians of all skill levels are invited to participate in-person or online in seven听weeks of workshops听with Glen McCarthy, instructor at听the Mason Community Arts Academy and听at听性视界传媒. If you have always wanted to sing and play the听ukulele - but aren't feeling quite ready, get great tips on how to improve your singing technique and your confidence in a November 2 bonus workshop on Zoom! The bonus workshop will be听co-led听by听Adiza听Jibril,听professional singer with The United States Army Band 鈥淧ershing鈥檚 Own.鈥
Looking for creative activities for military kids and teenagers? Look no further than 性视界传媒's Fairfax campus where 听(9/26 鈥 10/31) will take place in-person. This six-week听series brings students together to learn songwriting skills in a collaborative, safe environment.听Participants do not need to be advanced听singers or musicians to join this program.听This workshop series is FREE and open to military kids between the ages of 10 and 17.听Space is limited.
